This Privacy Policy explains how I'm Assistant ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and discloses your information when you use our service.

1. Information We Collect

To provide and improve our service, we collect the following types of information:

  • Account Information: When you sign in using your Google account, we receive your name, email address, profile picture URL, and a unique Google user ID from Firebase Authentication. This is used solely for identifying you as a user.
  • User Content: We collect the content you provide during your sessions. This includes text prompts you type, images you upload, and voice audio you record. This data is essential for the AI to process your requests and generate responses.

2. How We Use Your Information

Your information is used for the following purposes:

  • To Provide the Service: Your prompts, images, and audio are sent to Google's AI APIs (Generative AI, Vision, and Speech-to-Text) for processing to generate the AI responses you see.
  • To Authenticate You: We use your Google account information to create and manage your user session.
  • To Improve Our Service: We may analyze usage patterns (without identifying individuals) to improve the app's functionality and user experience.

3. Data Sharing and Third Parties

We do not sell your personal data. We only share data with third parties when it is essential for the service to function:

  • Google Cloud & AI Services: All User Content (text, images, audio) is securely transmitted to Google's powerful AI models to be processed. We do not have control over Google's data handling practices once the data is sent to them.
  • Firebase: We use Google's Firebase platform for user authentication.

4. Data Retention and Deletion

We are committed to data minimization. We do not store your chat history or conversations on our servers. Each session is ephemeral.

You have the right to delete your account at any time. You can do this from the side menu or the "My Account" page. When you delete your account, your user record in Firebase Authentication (containing your name, email, and Google ID) is permanently removed.

5. Security

We take the security of your data seriously. All communication between your browser and our servers, and between our servers and Google's APIs, is encrypted using industry-standard HTTPS/TLS protocols.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date.
